Do you want to start earning passive income from your YouTube channel?

But… you haven't been monetized yet and you only have a small following.

Today, I'm going to walk you through each step of how I make consistent passive income from my YouTube traffic.

I'll also show you how I make $3,846 every week from my YouTube channel, even though I'm not monetized yet and I only have around 2000 subscribers on my channel.

How much money can be made with just a few subscribers, then?

As you can see, I only have 2080 YouTube subscribers (at that time)... and the majority of my traffic and sales are actually coming from YouTube.

I use YouTube to build my email list and to do that, I use software called Systeme.io.

So to answer the question, of how much money I made with only 2,000 subscribers, I've included screenshots of what I made in Stripe and PayPal in 2022:

It equates to $363,024!

Honestly, in order for you to make that much money just from YouTube monetization, you would have to have millions of subscribers.

And it depends on the niche that you're in.

If you're in the financial niche, you can make more money from monetization versus just an entertainment niche.

It obviously depends on who's going to want to run ads on your YouTube videos and how much they're willing to pay.

Some of my friends with 100,000 or 200,000 YouTube subscribers are actually making anywhere from $30,000 to $90,000 a year. Just to give you an idea.

Build Passive Income with Youtube

If you search online, it’ll show you several ways to monetize on YouTube without having a large following.

But now, I'm going to show you step-by-step what my actual flow or funnel is to make money on YouTube and convert my subscribers into course students and purchasers.

Before that, here are some things to keep in mind:

-You need to utilize each YouTube video description.

A good YouTube description can draw your audience's interest and is one of the most crucial parts of your video.

But not only you can put catchy and interesting video descriptions, you can also put relevant links in your YouTube description to grow your email list, drive traffic and make sales.

We’ll discuss it further later.

-Each video needs to have a call to action.

Call-To-Action or CTA is an action you want a viewer to make after seeing your video.

In my case, I make sure all my YouTube videos have a Call-To-Action.

Here’s an example:

“Hey, if you want to learn more about this or you want a template for this, or you want to learn how to do this step-by-step, check out the link in my description below to snag a freebie.”

Let’s dive into how you can build passive income with YouTube WITHOUT getting monetized.

1. Create Freebies

Freebies are something you give to your audience for free or for signing up to your email list.

It can be downloadable guides, ebooks, or scripts. It is not limited to it though. You can create whatever freebies you like depending on your niche.

For example, in each of my YouTube videos, I have a description below my video with links to my freebies.

For example, the video above is about AI. Therefore in the description, I have a link to a freebie that is relevant to AI in this video.

You can create as many freebies as you want, put the link on each video description, and make sure that the freebies are relevant to your video.

2. Create a Funnel or Freebie Opt-in Page

So now that your freebies are ready, you will now be needing a Freebie opt-in page.

The Freebie opt-in page is basically a landing page when your audience clicks the links on your description box.

It is where they can download the freebies.

And it looks like this:

What’s cool is when they click “Download Now”.

They will be asked to put in their name and email address and they will be automatically added to your Email List.

Additionally, the Freebies will be sent out automatically to their email address.

You may be wondering why I choose to deliver the freebies via email instead of just giving them the option to download them right away.

1. To make sure that people are not putting in a fake email because if I just gave them the "download button" on the thank you page, they can put in any email at all.

2. When they enter their name and email, they're also routed to a “thank you page” where I can upsell them and give them the opportunity to join my membership called Freedom Creator Club.

Now a traditional thank you page could just say like,

“Hey, thanks, your freebie is on its way to your inbox.”

But instead here’s what I did:

I include:

"Wait! We have another resource that will help you grow your online business!"

So what's cool is I already know they're interested in creating and selling digital products and growing their following, and that's exactly what Freedom Creator Club helps them with.

So it's the perfect flow to go from watching my video to getting my freebie to then having the opportunity to join my membership.

3. Nurture your Email List

So after you build your email list through the freebie opt-in page, it is now time to shower your potential customers with warm nurture emails.

With this, you will be needing a marketing platform to create email campaigns.

I personally use Systeme.io.

Let’s go back to email campaigns.

Now an email campaign is simply a collection of emails that will be auto-sent out at the increments that you choose.

Honestly, I have one big automated email sequence, and it's called my Master Email Sequence.

This is what's included in my email sequence:

1. Welcome Emails - The first email they're going to get after they download the freebie.

2. “Getting to Know Me” Emails - These are emails where I shower them with free resources, and I'm really just building the relationship.

3. Last Call - Invitation for them to join the Freedom Creator Club community and join my membership.

And I can continue adding to this auto-launch sequence as much as I want, until eventually, they will become interested in my digital products and become my online course students.

With all that said, that's how I make consistent passive income with YouTube even with small subscribers.

Final Thoughts

There are many ways to make money from YouTube aside from YouTube monetization.

You can earn considerably more money RIGHT NOW even if you only have a few subscribers.

You don’t need to wait to get 100, 000 subscribers or more, you just need to think outside the box!
