Which is the best marketing software?

If you’re researching for an all-in-one online business platform, you'll see that there are many options out there.

But how do you actually choose the best?

Honestly, your choice depends entirely on your needs and preferences.

You will need a good platform, though, whether you want to start selling courses, or digital products, or you just want to build your business on a platform that gives you the features you need to scale and grow.

Kajabi, Systeme.io, and ClickFunnels are the best and most popular software among business owners and online marketers. I’ve tried them all.

I've used Kajabi for years, I've used ClickFunnels 1.0 for many years and I’ve also used Systeme.io for the past 4 to 6 months.

Let’s now look at each platform’s features.

Software Features

Every tool has unique benefits and advantages over others. Additionally, their goals and target markets differ.

Kajabi is best for entrepreneurs selling digital products like courses, memberships, coaching, ebooks, etc. It also provides top-notch marketing tools for creating courses, including automation, pipeline, and email marketing.

ClickFunnels on the other hand, primarily focuses on generating leads and building sales funnels. Its features are genuinely created to draw in audiences and boost conversion rates, making it simple to convert strangers into clients.

Systeme.io approach is different. It boasts itself as ''the only tool you need to grow your online business.'' They focus on cost-effectiveness and simplicity.

Systeme.io

Systeme.io is an all-inclusive platform for starting online businesses. With this software, starting, growing, and scaling an online business is simpler and easier.

If you’ve been following me for some time, you must already know that I was switching from Kajabi to Systeme.io.

Here are some of the reasons why:

1. It has a great builder and an easy-to-use interface.

Systeme.io has an intuitive and user-friendly interface that makes it easy to create and manage digital products and build your website.

It has a drag-and-drop editor, thus, you can effortlessly design your website with templates that you can customize.

2. It has fantastic automation tools.

Systeme.io offers a wide range of automation tools to help you save time and set your business on autopilot.

This includes email and workflow automation.

You can add automation rules as you build sales funnels. These rules help streamline the sales process for the pages you create.

For example, a user will automatically receive an email with the free resource when they sign up to access a free toolkit.

3. The price is insane. Their most expensive tier is $97 and you get unlimited everything.

And that's less than the lowest tiers of Kajabi and ClickFunnels.

We have used different software over the years. At one point, we were spending about $2500 a month on software to host and sell our digital products.

But Systeme.io is 100% free to use for up to 2000 email subscribers. If you don't have 1000 email subscribers, it is free for you for unlimited months and once you do hit 2000 email subscribers, then they would have you start paying for the software and it is still so so affordable.

We're talking about $29 a month. There are obviously other tiers you can pay for as well, but it is by far like 10 times cheaper than any software we've ever used.

4. It has the evergreen webinar that Kajabi and ClickFunnels don't have.

Kajabi

Kajabi is another all-in-one online business tool that can be used to create landing pages, and websites, automate marketing, and more.

Kajabi, quite frankly, in my opinion, does not do check-out pages and funnels very well at all, but they do good in courses.

As someone who is currently a Kajabi customer, my note for them is:

They should rather put their time, energy, resources, and money into fixing their checkout pages and their funnels.

They are also lacking checkout timers and some funnel capability.

But Kajabi does have a lot of great features, so I will try my best not to be biased.

With Kajabi, you can make a number of courses and mini-courses. It also offers a nice automation function that allows you to automate sending emails and lesson completion.

One thing that Kajabi has that the others don't have is Coaching and Podcast. But I don't really get these features.

Like for me personally, if you want to have a podcast, just use Anchor, It's free.

You literally upload the audio and video of your podcast and it literally puts it on every platform for free automatically. And I don't personally know why anyone would use anything other than Anchor, but that's just my opinion.

And then with coaching, I just feel like if you're going to host like recordings and stuff, I don't see how that's different from a course.

Lastly, when it comes to blogs and websites. Kajabi just has everything very clearly labeled, which I really like.

Kajabi's basic plan starts at $149 per month.

ClickFunnels

Last but not least, ClickFunnels!

ClickFunnels primarily focus is on marketing, selling digital products, and building sales funnels.

In simple terms, it provides fewer customization options for creating courses or creating membership websites.

Yet, you will love them if you’re a business owner looking to fully automate your sales processes.

It boasts:

-Built-in CRM tool to manage all your contacts in one place

-Funnel builder, which offers a larger selection of pre-built sales funnels

-Canvas builder, to visualize funnels and easily design complex funnels

-Automation tools, so you can send automated emails and build complex automation workflows

-eCommerce feature, to build your eCommerce store, so you can sell both digital and physical products

Honestly, I don’t find the eCommerce store necessary, because you can just list your digital products on your website.

But if you're someone who wants to sell physical products along with digital products, this option can be useful for you.

When it comes to the builder, I’ve used ClickFunnels 1.0 and I like its builder very much.

But recently, they introduced ClickFunnels 2.0, which is a brand new version of ClickFunnels 1.0.

And to be really honest, I think it's not very user-friendly and a little challenging to use. I’m not sure why they didn’t retain what’s on the builder 1.0.

Lastly, with ClickFunnels, everything appears to be highly customizable, yet it is quite slow. I'm not sure if they have all their bugs worked out.

Same with Kajabi, ClickFunnels' basic plan starts at $149 per month.

Final Thoughts

I do think Kajabi is really great for beginners, especially if you haven't made any sales yet. It’s good for those who are:

-Under six figures a year because it's very easy to use and doesn't allow you to go crazy with customizations

-Looking to spend time focusing on making good products and selling those products

Choose ClickFunnels if you are:

-Looking to build an eCommerce store and sell physical products as well

-More focus on generating leads

Go with Systeme.io if:

-You’re looking for the fastest and cheapest way to build your online business

So let me rank the three based on my experience with these three platforms.

I hate to say this, but I feel like I would go with ClickFunnels 2.0 over Kajabi just because as somebody who sells things with funnels, I find it so frustrating to not be able to have order bumps or customize my upsell pages. I would personally choose Clickfunnels 2.0 over Kajabi because I need funnel adaptability.

But if you're a beginner, I would go with Kajabi over ClickFunnels to point out.

All in all, the winner for me is Systeme.io.

Systeme.io is way cheaper compared to the two, has the best builder and it's actually the best software that we've ever used!

So I'd have to go Systeme.io number one, ClickFunnels 2.0, number two, and Kajabi number three just because it lacks the checkout timers and funnel capability.
